Chapman, Professor of the History of Modern Theology at the University of Oxford will kickstart our online lecture series, which is timed for the 100th anniversary of the Girton Conference. Join us at 7.30pm using the link below.\n\nIn 1921 Modern Church (then, ‘The Modern Churchmen’s Union’) held a conference at Girton College Cambridge on Christ and the Creeds. It was, in English Church life, ground-breaking. Reports of the conference and Leader articles were written about it.
