Valedictory Service of Evensong in Oxford: Saturday May 14th 3.30pm to Celebrate the Ministry of the Dean of Christ Church (2014-2022), former Principal of Cuddesdon (2004-14) and eighteen years of ministry for the Diocese of Oxford.

We warmly invite you to apply for tickets to the Farewell Service for The Very Revd. Professor Martyn Percy, Dean of Christ Church. This will be a Valedictory Service of Evensong to Celebrate the Ministry of the Dean of Christ Church and former Principal of Cuddesdon on the Feast Day of St. Matthias the Apostle. There will be an Informal Reception to follow.

Due to seating capacity, this has to be a fully ticketed event, so if you would like to attend the Service and the Reception please register with nurprc@nursing.u-net.com (Tom’s email). There will be a retiring collection on the day, split between the work of the Sheldon Community, and the Disaster Emergency Committee and their current relief work in Ukraine. There is no charge for the Reception. Clergy are asked not to robe.

Due to circumstances beyond our control the University Church is no longer available. However, the Service and Reception are going ahead as planned with our original time and date. Ticket-holders will receive instructions on the venue, parking and travel nearer the time We will not be able to admit anyone without a ticket due potential clashes with other events around the city. However, we do expect to be able to admit everyone who registers for a ticket. We very much hope you will do so, and be able to attend on the day. We look forward to seeing you there.
