Modern Church Forum: Oct 2025
Monday October 27th, 7 – 8pm
(zoom room will stay open til 8.30 for informal chat)
Mission as Solidarity
Our discussion will be focused on the most recent edition of Modern Believing (issue 66.4), guest edited by Duncan Dormor of USPG. He will attend the forum (possibly with other contributors too), and explore with us important new developments in global mission theology.
Zoom link will be emailed to members – if you do not receive it by the event date, please contact office@modernchurch.org.uk
This event is members-only. Find out about becoming a Modern Church member here.
Forum is Modern Church’s members-only, facilitated online discussion space. It provides the opportunity for open theological exploration: a place to tell stories, share ideas, doubts and questions.
Forum is responsive to the desires of its members, so the programme is flexible. It works alongside Modern Church’s other activities, offering members the chance to ‘go deeper’, providing a platform to discuss our blogs, Modern Believing articles, conferences and panels and anything else that’s on members’ minds
Forum will meet every other month on a Monday evening from 7 – 8pm, with the Zoom room remaining open until 8.30pm for those who would like to linger longer for informal conversation.
The facilitators are:
Alison Webster (General Secretary)
Elaine Graham (Chair of Trustees)
Lorraine Cavanagh (Trustee)
