Participating in Democracy
This panel will explore the power of voting, and power beyond voting. How and why might Christians be involved in encouraging voter registration and turn-out? How can churches provide a forum for questioning and challenging parliamentary candidates to help us decide who to vote for? And when the election is over, what next? How can we be active as Christian communities, joining with others, across difference, to build people-power, and make a positive difference in our local communities?
